Meet Our Staff: Liana Delaney

Protectowire

How would you describe what you do at Protectowire FireSystems?

I am a Marketing and Social Media Specialist and the person behind the scenes when it comes to the Protectowire website, social media channels, and newsletter.

Part of my job is to educate the community about linear heat detection and to create an awareness for the industries and applications where it can best be used. I often work with industry networking groups to coordinate in-person speaking opportunities and events.

The Protectowire sales team and I are continuously creating content for blog posts, case studies and datasheets on new products and unique applications to better serve our audience. This fall we will be launching a brand new Protectowire.com website that will hopefully allow specifiers, engineers, and end-users easier access to information about Protectowire products and resources.

We have such an exciting future ahead of us here at Protectowire and I am lucky enough to say that I love my job.

I couldn’t live without my…

Family and hair products (control my mop)

What would you be doing if you weren’t at your current job?

I would love to refinish furniture full time someday. I’ve found great joy in giving old furniture new life since they don’t make them like they used to.

How do you recharge?

You can often find me going for a run in the neighborhoods around Protectowire which is both exercise and therapeutic for me.

When I’m not at work, you can find me…

At the beach, in the kitchen making baked goods, or at the local playground with my son.

Something you’ve learned working for Protectowire.

I’ve learned that everyone makes mistakes, but it’s how you learn from it and bounce back matters more.
