Introducing LSZH and the 172°F (78°C) Detectors

Protectowire FireSystems is proud to announce the introduction of two new product enhancements that will allow system designers additional flexibility when specifying our linear heat detection systems.

1) New jacket material LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)

2) New temperature detector 172°F (78°C).

The new LSZH jacket material is being introduced to address the needs for hazard protection in concealed or confined spaces. The LSZH jacket is available from 135°F (57°C) to 356°F (180°C). LSZH is also available on all CTI detector temperature ranges. All LSZH jacketed detectors are UL/cUL Listed and FM Approved

The 172°F (78°C) detector is available in the PHSC and PLR jacketing types including our new LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). The operating temperature is from -40°F (40°C) to 130°F (54°C). This detector is also UL/cUL Listed and FM Approved.

Both the LSZH and 172°F (78°C) detectors are now available now for immediate release.
