How long have you been working at Protectowire?
30 memorable years. The time has finally arrived when I must bid adieu to all of my beloved colleagues and friends. After spending these many years together, it will be difficult to part from them and this company.
How would you describe your job here at Protectowire?
As the retiring VP of International Sales, I was responsible for executing the strategy which leverages all e-com, channels, and direct communications to penetrate new and existing International accounts. The position required recommendations to establish the marketing needs of international territories to align the sales and marketing strategy and manage all partnerships and distributors in assigned territories in line with the regional plan and company policies.
What was your favorite part about your job?
International travel and interacting with the many cultures and customs I’ve encountered throughout the world.
What are you going to miss most about working at Protectowire?
The daily challenges, commitment and contribution to the success of the company’s objectives.
What piece of advice would you give to new employees?
Since a company is only as good as the people you work with, recognize your potential, share your ideas with fellow workers, take pride in what you accomplish and you will understand what a great company Protectowire is. That is why I feel fortunate and appreciate to have worked with dedicated employees who have demonstrated that every individual person is important. Your fingerprints will leave a lasting impression on the success of The Protectowire Company.
What part of retirement are you most looking forward to?
Sleeping in my own bed until 8:00 AM each morning.
I’ve found my association with Protectowire to be productive as well as encouraging. I hope to take all that I’ve learned here and apply it to my retirement years. This is not a “goodbye,” but simply a pause in the road.
