Strobe Signal

Protectowire’s weather proof strobe signal offers maximum reliability and consists of a xenon flashtube with solid state circuitry enclosed in a rugged Lexan® lens. The strobe is rated at 75 candela and is designed for outdoor installation when used with the appropriate back box.

Electronic Signal/Strobe

The MT electronic signal strobe provides multi-tone alarm signals with two field selective sound output levels; either Standard dBA or High dBA. The MT electronic signal strobe offers eight (8) nationally and internationally recognized alerting sounds. It is switch selective for Horn, Bell, March Time Horn, Code 3 Horn, Code 3 Tone, Slow Whoop, Siren or Hi/Lo Tone. The flashing strobe is rated for 15 candela under UL 1971 and 75 candela on axis for ADA compliance. Additional MT series models are also available without the strobe light and for outdoor mounting.

Power Tone Amplified Speaker

The ASHP Power Tone amplified speaker, produces a crisp, clear, high-decibel tone. The circuitry and tone card are contained in a dust and moisture proof sealed housing of die-cast aluminum. An internal gain control allows for easy volume adjustment. The Power Tone is polarized for connection to system 24VDC supervised alarm indicating circuits.

The Protectowire MSB series bells are listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Factory Mutual, and the California State Fire Marshal. Their application ranges from fire and burglary to general signaling where a motorized type mechanism is preferred. These devices offer high sound level output with low current drain and starting voltage, along with a completely enclosed mechanism to assure dependable, maintenance free operation.

FP - Concealed Conduit Adapter Plate, Red Cast aluminum for applications where semi-flush installation cannot be used. The Adapter Plate can be mounted to any standard 4" square, octagonal or round outlet box, single or double gang box or plaster ring. A Back Box can then be fastened to the Adapter Plate resulting in a concealed conduit installation.
