The SharpEye™ 40/40-U and 40/40-UB detectors state-of-the-art design, combines industry performance requirements and up-to-date electronic microprocessor technology. The UV sensor band pass has been carefully selected to ensure the greatest degree of spectral matching to the radiant energy emissions of fire. In addition to the basic alarm evaluation circuit, the 40/40-UB incorporates the added feature of Built-in-Test (BIT)* which enables the detector to continuously perform (at predetermined time intervals) automatic full-featured test of the detector’s internal electronics.  New 5-year warranty.

SharpEye™ IR³ Flame Detector

The SharpEye™ 40/40I is a self-contained triple spectrum flame detector. The sensor band pass has been carefully selected to ensure the greatest degree of spectral matching to the radiant energy emissions of fire, and the lowest degree of matching to non-fire stimuli. The SharpEye 40/40I is extremely sensitive. It can detect a 1x1 sq. ft. gasoline pan fire at 215 ft. in less than 5 seconds. The sensitivity is user-programmable, offering 4 ranges of detection. The patented triple IR design offers two to three times the detection distance of any conventional IR or UV/IR detector.  New 5-year warranty.

SharpEye™ IR Flame Detector

The SharpEye™ 40/40R Single-IR Optical Flame Detector incorporates the advanced flame analysis algorithms employed in the SharpEye line of UV/IR and IR3 Optical Flame Detectors, combined with a cost-effective electro-mechanical design to produce a low cost flame detector. The 40/40R Flame Detector was designed to provide early warning of flaming fires involving organic (hydrocarbon fuels and gas) materials.

SharpEye™ Multi-IR Flame Detector

The SharpEye™ 40/40M is specifically designed for detection of hydrocarbon and hydrogen flames.  It detects hydrocarbon based fuel and gas fires at long distances with a high immunity to false alarms.  Its features include a heated window to eliminate condensation and icing; HART capabilities for digital communications; low power requirements, and a compact housing.
