Stratos-Aspirating
High Sensitivity Smoke Detector |
|
Stratos-Aspirating High Sensitivity Smoke Detector
has unmatched sensitivity potential, providing the
very earliest warning of incipient fire with minimal
rate of nuisance alarms. ClassiFire®
Perceptive Artificial Intelligence ensures that the
detector operates at optimum sensitivity for the
protected environment, without the need for complex
setup. This means the product will configure itself
to provide high sensitivity in a computer room or
reduced sensitivity in areas with a high ambient
background. Equipped with four alarm relays
(Auxiliary, Pre-Alarm, Fire 1 and Fire 2), fault
relay and 3 pairs of remote control input terminals,
the inputs may be configured for a number of
functions. See technical documentation for full
details. Relay outputs provide a convenient method
for remote monitoring by local fire alarm panels or
Building Management Systems. Open Protocol available
for 3rd party integration. IP-50 rated enclosure
provides superior protection of circuitry and
provides easy access to internal termination points
for wiring or servicing. |

Stratos-Micra™
100 Aspirating Smoke Detector |
|
Stratos-Micra™ 100 is
designed to provide very high sensitivity smoke
detection in a small package for mid-size
applications. ClassiFire® Perceptive Artificial
Intelligence ensures that the detector operates at
optimum sensitivity for the protected environment,
without the need for complex setup. This means the
product will configure itself to provide high
sensitivity in a computer room or reduced
sensitivity in areas with a high ambient background.
The detector is designed to fit into a Docking
Station. All sampling pipes and cables are connected
to the Docking Station as a first fix operation
leaving the detector to be fitted during the final
commissioning phase if required. This ensures that
detectors are less likely to be damaged during the
installation. |

 |
Features
• Aspirating Smoke Detector in a
small package provides an affordable solution to
small to mid-size applications.
• High sensitivity provided by laser based forward
light scatter mass detection with particle
evaluation for reliable very early warning.
• Two sampling pipes, 164ft in length each, up to
328ft (50m) (aggregate) total detector.
• Unique
ClassiFire® Perceptive Artificial Intelligence
system that dynamically adjusts the detector's
operating parameters, allowing for day to day
changes in the protected environment and filter
loading.
• Unwanted alarms from dust are avoided using
patented Dual Technology LDD-3D3™ Laser Dust
Discrimination and elimination system.
• RS485 and RS232 communications built in as

PipeCad®
Design Software |
|
PipeCAD is a Windows
based program to assist in the design of sampling
pipe layouts for the Stratos-HSSD range of
detectors. Layouts can be entered in plan or three
dimensional views and the program calculates
sampling point air flow rates, the balance between
holes and pipes (when multiple pipes are used) and
sampling point sensitivity. |
 |
 |
Features
• Available in both Standard (US) and Metric
versions.
• Directly supports
loading of CAD-generated room or entire building
drawings from Dxf files.
• Extensive hole size
optimization routines.
• Help files give many
application examples covering air handling units,
duct sampling, condensation traps for humid areas
and more.
• Pipe layouts created
in PipeCAD can be imported into other programs.
• An automatically
generated bill of materials screen gives the
quantities, part numbers and prices (if set) of all
pipe components used to make up a sampling pipe
layout.
• PipeCAD
supports NISTs Fire Dynamics Simulator allowing the
complete system response time to be modeled.
|
System requirements
PipeCAD requires a PC
running Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP with 8Mb
or more free disk space and is provided free of
charge to customers of AirSense Technology Ltd.
Please note that although PipeCAD is currently
compatible with Windows 95, 98 and NT its use on
those platforms is unsupported as they are no longer
supported by Microsoft. |
